Birdviewing Campaign at Shivapuri National Park is Successfully Completed

Today, saturday 18 june 2011, Students of Institute of Banking and Management Studies (IB&MS) and BCN staffs are successfully completed the Birdviewing Campaign at Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park organized by Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN). Mr. Rajendra Gurung, Campaign leader leaded all viewers by providing related information and stragegical movement in the jungle.



Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN) is the largest and oldest civil society organisation dedicated to the interests of ornithologists, bird watchers and conservationists in Nepal. It seeks to promote interest in birds amongst the general public; encourage research on bird biology and ecology; identify major threats to birds and act to conserve bird and their habitats. It also provides the most authentic information on birds and their habitats across Nepal.

BCN is a membership based organisation supported by the Founder President, patrons, life members and several ordinary members. The major strength of BCN is its varied membership, which includes students, teachers, professionals, bird enthusiasts, conservationists and the general public. BCN recognises the value of birds and promotes the participation of people as future stewards to attain long-term conservation goals.
